Peter and Bethan now live in Nottinghamshire with their three children Elin, Huw and Lowri. After a career break caring for Lowri who is profoundly disabled because of Rett Syndrome, Peter now works freelance. His business, Ancestrography, offers historical research and archive translation and transcription services.
