Peter Foden is a graduate of Cambridge and Liverpool Universities and has twenty years' experience of managing and using historical archives. He has managed archives and written and implemented records management policies in both the public and private sectors, working for the Honourable Society of Lincoln's Inn (1989-90), Oxford University Press (1990-97), Stoke on Trent City Council (1997-98), and the Boots Company PLC (1998-2001).  He has also worked as a Freedom of Information and Records Management consultant for the University of Nottingham.
